We are the premier destination in northern Illinois and the only Suri alpaca farm where you can enter the enclosure to feed the girls. We are located just outside Chicago.
Step into the “Magic-al” world of Suri Alpacas. Magic Meadows Alpacas is a sustainable working farmette. We opened our gates to visitors in 2020. We didn’t realize the joy our alpacas would bring to others. From private visits to yoga to group outings; all walk away with a smile. We invite you to visit our little patch of magic in Wonder Lake, Illinois (outside of Chicago) where you’ll meet fun big-eyed alpacas and certainly be greeted by warm welcomes of all kinds. We look forward to meeting you.

Thank you for making 2025 an extraordinary year for us! Your unwavering support has profoundly impacted our alpacas, especially Ewok and her cria, Princess Violet. They are receiving the vital medical care they need, and your contributions ensures all our alpacas continue to thrive. Every dollar from your visits, purchases, and donations directly supports the well-being of our beloved alpaca herd, which brings joy to countless individuals. We are excited to announce that we will be opening our gates mid-April /early May, weather permitting, for our sixth season.
